Within its South-Central area of operations, DRC presently works in areas of Anbar, Babylon, Baghdad, Diyala, Kerbala, Najaf and Salahhadin governorates. The Humanitarian Access Safety Advisor, based in Baghdad, will provide guidance and support in the assessment and management of safety risks to DRC staff and resources in current locations and in new areas of operation. The Humanitarian Access Safety Advisor will provide regular analysis and work closely with national safety staff to build professional capacities.

Provide technical assistance to CDC Pakistan for the implementation of GHSA/IHR action packages outlined in the Pakistan 5-year country roadmap and addressing the gaps identified by the 2015 Pakistan Joint External Evaluation assessment.
Provide CDC Pakistan with technical assistance on the coordination, implementation, and reporting of CDC’s GHSA goals with other US Government and international organizations.
