GOPA is currently seeking a Team Leader (Construction Engineer, Architect) for the construction, upgrading and refurbishment of vocational schools in Mozambique for an up-coming KfW funded project. The Team Leader will be responsible for the overall coordination of the project implementation and the supervision and guidance of the Consultant’s team.

Place of Assignment: Chiure, Cabo Delgado, Mozambique
The candidate is expected to:
• Coordinate the Cosv strategy and overall programme in Mozambique
• Supervising the action in the Gilè National Reserve where most of the activities are currently taking place, focusing on the tourism sector and the sustainable management of natural resources
• Ensure an efficient and effective overall management (technical, organizational, administrative) of the Cosv programme in Mozambique. In particular:

Under the Supervision ICAP in Mozambique’s MCH Sub Unit Manager and in coordination with ICAP at Columbia University Clinical and Training unit staff, the incumbent will work closely with Mozambican MOH counterparts to develop new strategies for reaching Pediatric HIV targets. The Pediatric Advisor will be responsible for providing vision and technical leadership to pediatric HIV care and treatment services at ICAP supported Health Facilities, in particularly in the context of the ACT program.
Mozambique is on an ambitious path to scale up HIV Care and Treatment services to reach Universal Access by 2015, with specific activities and strategies to achieve this outlined in the National HIV Acceleration Plan (2013-2017). Despite impressive recent gains in ART coverage, intensive efforts are needed to ensure systems and services are in place to achieve further scale-up, including a robust patient monitoring system.
Chemonics seeks a chief of party for the ongoing five-year USAID Coastal City Adaptation Program in Mozambique. The program aims to increase urban coastal resiliency to climate change by incorporating climate change planning processes and adaptive capacity building measures. Working in vulnerable Mozambican coastal communities, it collaborates with municipal governments to increase understanding of urban adaptation issues and increase the application of management options for urban adaptation.
